Product Description

Texol Grease WD Light is state-of-the-art lubricant utilizing a complex calcium sulphonate thickening system. Texol Grease WD Light is a corrosion preventive grease containing cold flow enhancers and temperature resistant additives.

Applications and Uses

 Texol Grease WD Light is specifically designed for application to overhead line conductors operating under high temperature conditions. This is defined by certain standards as meaning temperature up to and including 200°C. It used to be applied during the wire stranding process to steel cored aluminium overhead conductor cables. These cables are likely to have a life-span in excess of 20 years and be subjected to all weather conditions.

 Texol Grease WD Light has good low temperature characteristics remaining flexible down to -40°C without ant tendency to crack or flake.
